Twitter acquired the newsletter service provider Revue at the beginning of 2021. The social media platform is now expanding the Revue newsletter integration. In the future, users will be able to access the author's newsletter directly from a tweet with one click and subscribe there.
On January 26, 2021, the social media company Buy Email Database List announced its newsletter competitor Facebook that it had acquired the newsletter service provider Revue. The aim of the acquisition was and is to make Twitter more attractive for authors, journalists and creators. And to offer them monetization potential for their content. The restriction of 280 characters for a tweet should thus be cushioned and more opportunities for detailed articles and other content should be provided.
Sign up for Twitter Revue newsletter directly from the tweet

The newsletter button has already been tested in user profiles. It is displayed on authors' Twitter profiles. Twitter now wants to integrate the Revue newsletter even more deeply into the social media platform. As Revue announced in a tweet, Twitter users will soon be able to subscribe to the authors' newsletter directly from a tweet.
This means that those interested in the newsletter function no longer have to click on the user profile. Even two-factor authentication is no longer necessary. This puts Twitter one step ahead of its competitor Facebook when it comes to the newsletter function .
The new Twitter Revue newsletter feature is currently only available for the desktop version of the social media platform. However, the “direct subscribe” function should also be available for the mobile app in the coming weeks.
